Job summary

The role of the Customer Service Advisor is to provide efficient, effective and professional support to the Trust IT users through the IT Service Desk. This can be a range of IT related incidents from password resets to equipment not working.

Main duties of the job

  • Liaising with customers over the phone, email and in person
  • Assigning calls that come into the Service desk to the appropriate person within the team
  • Identify and alert management to potential problems in the IM&T infrastructure
  • Repair and maintenance of the Trust equipment
  • Monitor stock levels of equipment
  • Maintain IT records, filling systems and databases
