Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to join our team within Corporate Nursing, to provide administrative support for several workstreams. You will have proven administrative experience, working in a busy office environment, minute-taking skills and be used to prioritising, planning and organising their own workload, whilst managing conflicting priorities. You will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, efficient, calm, professional and have an eye for detail.

Main duties of the job

Some Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to members of the Corporate Nursing Senior Team, carrying out a range of complex tasks specific to the work area. This will include providing support to the Health Care Support Worker Education team and Tissue Viability team.
  • Coordinate administrative activities, including the preparation of agendas and meeting papers, minute taking and following up actions.
  • Arrange meetings, seminars, workshops and presentations both within and external to the Trust, attending as necessary to take and transcribe minutes/notes.
  • Participate in and support departmental projects and workstreams, including the accreditation programme.
  • Work with electronic information systems such as email, electronic diaries, internet/intranet, word processing, databases, spreadsheets, virtual meetings, presentations and Trust specific software.
  • Plan and manage own workload, working autonomously to prioritise work appropriately to ensure all deadlines are met.
