Rotational Occupational Therapist

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time permanent band 5 occupational therapist to join our rotation programme. This post provides the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, knowledge and leadership across a range of settings including acute and community teams. The rotational post would be suitable for someone seeking to develop their clinical and leadership skills in a wide range of specialities.

You will benefit from working in a friendly NHS Trust which offers a wide range of rotational experiences in different teams and specialities including: Early Intervention Team, medicine, surgery, respiratory, community inpatients, hand therapy, neurology/stroke, and orthopaedics. A couple of the rotations require some weekend working.

Main duties of the job

To provide assessments and interventions with patients within the rotational settings. To participate in professional supervision and training, building upon the skills and knowledge as you progress. To assist the team in planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating the service provided to patients. To contribute to service improvements to ensure practice is of the highest quality, evidence based and meets the needs of the local population.
