We are looking to appoint an experienced, efficient and enthusiastic individual to manage the operational delivery of Clinical Trials Unit activities at Papworth Trials Unit Collaboration. They will also assist in the implementation of the Trusts Research Strategy, in partnership with the Senior R&D Manager and the Clinical Director of the Trials Unit.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all research undertaken by the CTU is financially viable and ensuring all areas of the Trust are recompensed for research work undertaken and provide project management support for a portfolio of trials and clinical studies being undertaken by PTUC.
The post holder will be required to assist the Senior R&D Manager in the development and implementation of systems for resource and financial planning, trial administration, document management, data management and quality control and assurance. The post will include line management responsibilities for the band 7 senior trials unit team.
