We have two full time positions' for a Clinical Support Worker working with the Hospital24 team supporting in and out of hours with venepuncture, cannulation and ECG recordings.

Hospital 24 is a developing service, previously known as Hospital@Night. We provide nursing, medical and surgical support to our patients in and out of hours. We are a friendly and supportive team and share the trusts core values.

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic clinical support workers (CSW). You will have excellent organisation and communication skills.You will be working within the Hospital24 team supporting with Cannulation, Phlebotomy and ECG recording. In addition, you will be supporting the medical and nursing teams in responding to acutely unwell patients.If you are a committed individual who strives to provide excellent patient-focused care and is able to rise to new challenges, then we would like to hear from you.

The post holder works as part of the Hospital24 Team providing Clinical Support to Medical and Nursing staff 27/7.

The Support Worker will be responsible for providing venepuncture, cannulation and ECG recording across both campuses. The post holder will be required to prioritise and manage their own workload within a dynamic busy environment.

The Department has operational responsibility for Hospital24 across the organisation. As such the post holder will be required to rotate between both main campuses that make up Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
