Job summary

We are seeking an ambitious, highly trained and committed candidates who are on the specialist register or within 6 months of attaining their CCT for the post of Consultant in Pain Medicine to join our existing team at the Walton Centre. Opportunities are available to work within the pain management programme as well as the general pain service. Sub - specialist interests will be encouraged and support will be given to develop these, depending on the experience of the successful candidate and the needs of the service. This is a replacement post after a retirement.

Main duties of the job

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic organisation that has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality care, rated 'outstanding' by the CQC.

Applicants are required to hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists or equivalent qualification, to be fully registered with the General Medical Council and to have been awarded the Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, or equivalent.

  • MB BS or equivalent.
