Job summary
The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint 1 Speciality Doctors in Neuroanaesthesia & Neuro Critical Care Unit . The post is being advertised for 12Programmed Activities (PAs) and the successful candidate will be expected to work across both departments and support the on-call system.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will be largely providing cover to Neurotheatres during working hours Mon to Fri but they will be expected to provide resident out of hours cover on the neurotheatres or Neuro ITU rota if required. The successful candidates will have an opportunity to develop sub-speciality interest & have regular sessions in Neurotheatres. Their clinical activity will be calculated on the basis of an annualised jobplan. In addition, an average of 1 PA per week will be allocated for internal and external supporting professional activities (SPAs) related to the post e.g. audit, personal administration and continuing medical education.
