Diagnostic Radiology and/or Nuclear Medicine Band 7 Clinical Scientist (or trainee) opportunity
Applications are warmly invited to join our Clinical & Radiation Physics team based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro. Our team supports diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation protection and non-ionising radiations and so the post presents opportunity for the successful candidate to develop a portfolio of skills and experience dependent upon their interests.
Ideally you will have HCPC registration and clinical experience in either diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine, however we have a well-established history of training individuals to achieve HCPC registration through the Scientist Training Programme and equivalence routes. We therefore encourage applications from candidates who might fulfil the following:
- HCPC registered Clinical Scientist (appointment on band 7)
- MSc or PhD in medical physics related subject (initial appointment, pending registration, on band 6)
- BSc in physics or similar (terms dependent upon experience and training route)
