Job summary

This is an administration role to support the Consultant Podiatrist for Diabetes Inpatients by co-ordinating, reporting, investigating and disseminating root cause analysis relating to major Lower Limb amputations in people living with diabetes in Dorset.

Administration relating to investigations into Lower Limb amputations in Dorset

Provide process support to the Consultant Podiatrist and Panel Team facilitating communication and administrative tasks as required by the role as it develops.

Creation and submission of LERN forms for every major lower limb amputation as designated by Consultant Podiatrist following the Root Cause Analysis Toolkit pathway. Support the Consultant Inpatient Podiatrist at Learning Panel meetings; minuting the meetings and taking actions.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
