Job summary
Dorset HealthCare are looking for a administrator to join the friendly administrative team at Canford Heath Community Clinic.
You will be a pivotal point of contact for people accessing the Community Clinic and as such you will need to have a friendly approach.
Daily tasks will involve communicating with service users, signposting, managing emails, and assisting clinicians with general admin. The post holder will also assume ultimate responsibility for the security (opening and closing of the clinic when required) and the smooth running of the clinic.
This role is a part time role of 16 hours per week. Example shift patterns are below which can be discussed at interview.
Monday and Tuesday 10am-2pm, Thursday and Friday 10am-2pm
Monday and Tuesday 9.30am-1.30pm, Thursday and Friday 9.30am-1.30pm

Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the role will include providing administration support, reception duties, telephone and face to face contact with members of the public, daily contact with clinicians and other professionals including our Estates Team, co-ordinating clinic sessions and room bookings.
Training is provided as well as ongoing support within a team environment.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
