Job summary
- To work with the Chief of Services, Head of Midwifery & Clinical governance lead Midwifery for Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the delivery of the corporate agenda on clinical risk management in respect of the maternity services and the departmental risk management strategy.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for the risk coordination, implementation and dissemination of a clinical and non-clinical risk within maternity to meet national, regional and local requirements.
- To lead and ensure the risk agenda meets the requirements for the safety domain on the CQC assessment.
- Leadership of the patient safety maternity group and risk assessment within the multiprofessional team.
