Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and proactive Consultant Radiologist team to respond to the need of our growing service. The imaging department at UHB has expanded to more than 90 consultants working across all 4 main hospital sites. The attached job description and person specification contains more detail about the post and imaging department.

These are principally Head and Neck Radiology posts involving cross sectional reporting, Ultrasound of the Head and Neck incorporating FNA and Core biopsy and contribution to a regional tertiary centre Head and Neck MDT. There will also be an acute imaging/Duty Radiology and on call component to the job.

This is a full time post and incorporates 8 PA 's of direct patient care based on a 10 PA contract. Flexibility in association with service needs will be required on a weekly basis in line with an annualised hour 's framework. The appointee will support clinical colleagues in offering a comprehensive imaging service for the trust and our patients.
