Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Rheumatology service, for a nursing administrator, to support our Nursing co-ordinator. You will be working as part of a fantastic service within the trust that delivers on all expectations, with a friendly and supportive team. Full training on the role will be provided, experience of working within a busy environment is essential. You will need excellent communication skills, time management and ability to prioritise own workload.
This post is for 22.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
Under supervision of the nursing Co-ordinator you will be tasked with answering patient queries, managing clinic diaries, outcoming clinics. You will need great communication skills to be able to liaise with all levels of personnel from inside and outside of the trust. Compassionate and caring towards our patients. You must be reliable and computer literate. Experience of the trust systems is desirable, but full training on the role will be given. Experience of managing a busy email inbox is essential, you will also be able to communicate via the telephone systems.
