Job summary
This is a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist or pharmacy technician, to develop their career at a senior level by joining our pharmacy team. We are seeking an Operational Site Lead with a strong background in operational management, quality improvement and innovation for our Cancer and Aseptic Services Team, across all four hospital sites.
As a member of the Senior Pharmacy Leadership Team, you will actively contribute to and shape the strategic planning of the service, including innovative pharmacy and medicines systems that help achieve the trust's aspirations.
You will be supported in your role by, Senior Clinical Pharmacists and Specialist Pharmacy Technicians; along with the Pharmacy Operations and Performance Managers based at our four hospital sites.
If you have experience of operational management and service delivery and possess good leadership and communication skills then we can offer you a stimulating and fulfilling role, with support from an established and experienced senior team. Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for leading on the development, planning / implementation and evaluation of performance and business strategies, policies and standards for the pharmacy cancer and aseptic service to ensure the delivery of excellent pharmacy practice and the best use of resources. With a strong focus on quality improvement and effective operational management. You will progress the development of leading-edge pharmacy services for our patients.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior role to operationally manage the pharmacy Cancer and Aseptic Service in the largest teaching hospital within the Midlands.
