Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join the management team of Quinton & Harborne PCN (Q&H PCN).

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Primary Care Network (PCN) Manager to lead the operational, financial, workforce and digital transformation agenda across our PCN.

This is a senior leadership role suited to an individual with strong experience in people management and managing teams, with experience in general practice or primary care being advantageous.

Main duties of the job

Please note that this is a part time role working 15 hours a week across 2 days.

The successful candidate will lead the day to day operational management of the PCN, including financial oversight, workforce and people management, handling HR matters and employee relations issues, project delivery, service development, digital transformation initiatives, enhanced accesses delivery and performance reporting. The role will involve working closely with practices, the ICB and external partners to support the delivery of national and local primary care priorities.

Applicants must have experience managing teams, people, budgets, operational delivery and multiple priorities within a fast paced environment. Strong communication, organisational leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside the ability to lead change and support collaborative working across practices. Experience using General Practice clinical systems and an understanding of primary care services would be beneficial.

About us

You will be employed on behalf of the PCN by Our Health Partnership.

Our Health Partnership was set up by local GPs who are passionate about providing high quality primary care and using their time and skills effectively to benefit patients.

We are currently a GP partnership of 30 practices with 38 surgeries. 110 GP partners in Our Health Partnership serving around 210,000 patients in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Shropshire.

The partnership offers a shared administrative and management structure, cutting down the time doctors have to spend on admin. It opens up economies of scale to get best value from budgets. It has the resources to develop innovative services and effective partnerships with local hospitals and care services. And it can access new funding streams that are only available to large GP organisations.
