Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our friendly and forward-thinking general practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive primary care environment.

You will work autonomously as well as collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide autonomous clinical care, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Prescribe independently in line with clinical guidelines and practice protocols
  • Manage both acute presentations and long-term conditions
  • Triage patients appropriately and prioritise clinical need
  • Deliver health promotion and preventative care advice
  • Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and service development
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team

We are a busy training practice with a list size of approximately 13,000 patients, supported by a large multidisciplinary team including GPs, ANPs, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.

The successful candidate will work autonomously to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, contributing to high-quality, patient-centred care.
