Job responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our forward-thinking and innovative general practice in Cleethorpes.

We are a busy training practice with a list size of approximately 13,000 patients, supported by a large multidisciplinary team including GPs, ANPs, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.

The successful candidate will work autonomously to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, contributing to high-quality, patient-centred care.

Main Duties of the Job

• Provide autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

• Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions

• Prescribe independently in line with national and local guidance

• Triage and prioritise patient need

• Deliver health promotion and preventative care

• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team

• Support clinical governance, audit, and service development

Qualifications

Essential

• Person Specification Essential
• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (MSc or equivalent experience)
• Independent Prescriber (V300)
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or similar setting
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
