- Salary £11,300 per session

- 4 sessions - Tuesday all day & Friday all day
- 5 sessions - Tuesday all day , Thursday AM or PM & Friday all day

- One session per week will be dedicated to delivering a weekly ward round to a local care home as part of the Network DES and the local NCL ICB Care Home LCS.
- No extended hours or weekend shifts as part of contract but access to these through our PCN
- Support from allied health professionals (Practice Nurses, HCA, Clinical Pharmacists, Physicians Associate and ARRS roles including Social Prescribers, FCP and Healthcare Support Worker)
- Access to Digital technologies in house including AccuRX, Ardens, iPlato
- Spacious, modern purpose-built premises with car park and on street parking
- Weekly clinical meetings with clinical team of GPs and GP Partners
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a salaried GP to join us for between 4 - 6 sessions per week, across 2 or 3 days.
You will be responsible for provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the PMS contract. Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice contributing to the effective management of the practice, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the whole team.
You will be required to complete one session per week visiting a local care home to complete a ward round.

practice in North London looking for a salaried GP for 4, 5, or 6 sessions ( job shares considered) . We currently have 7 salaried GPs, 5 GP Partners and a Management
Partner. We also have nurses, HCAs and Pharmacists in our clinical team, along
with supportive staff from our PCN including Pharmacists, FCPs, Care
Coordinators and SPLW.
We are a GMS training practice and have over
17,500 patients.
Our practice is part of a Primary Care
Network and our local Federation and actively involved in a range of schemes
and services to provide high quality to the local population.
We have a team of highly trained secretaries,
medical assistants and prescription clerks to reduce your admin. We use Emis Web, AccuRX, Docman 10

- Provide other general medical services to meet identified patient need.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare works within the organisation.
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice; disease management protocols, provide counselling and health education.
- Work within current NCL ICB policy for prescribing.
- Be available and accessible to patients at all times as agreed.
- Maximise the effective use of current clinical computer systems. Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to an agreed standard.
- Compile and issue computer generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible).
- Undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
- Attend team meetings and other clinical meetings as necessary.
