Job summary
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic
and experienced bookkeeper to join our team. This exciting role involves
providing finance and accounting support to the Practice Manager and GP
partners within a general practice setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience
with Xero and/or PayeDoc, and a formal accounting qualification or equivalent
is preferred.
In this role, you will work closely
with the Practice Manager to help maintain the financial health and integrity
of the Practice. Key responsibilities include accurate record-keeping,
financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
This position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week. The working pattern will be determined in collaboration with the successful candidate to ensure mutual convenience.

The Tutbury Practice is a rural GP surgery
located in Tutbury, serving patients from nearby areas such as Rolleston,
Hatton, and Stretton. Our practice has a patient population of 8,545. Our
clinical team includes two GP partners, three salaried GPs, a clinical
pharmacist, a nurse practitioner, and an experienced nursing team, all
supported by a friendly and dedicated admin and reception staff.
