Job summary

Grafton Medical Partners are seeking a compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team based in Tooting, South London.

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of patient care including but not limited to phlebotomy, vaccinations, and health checks.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Provide Patient Care and Clinical Support Carry out a range of clinical procedures including diabetic reviews, blood tests, ECGs, dressings, and blood pressure checks.

Deliver Health Checks and Vaccinations Support patient wellbeing through health checks, screenings, and the administration of routine vaccinations.

Maintain Accurate Patient Records and Clinical Administration Keep clear and up-to-date records using EMIS and complete clinical administration to a high standard, following practice procedures and clinical guidelines.

Manage Samples, Equipment and Clinical Areas Ensure blood samples, vaccines, equipment, and treatment rooms are handled safely and maintained to a high standard.

Work as Part of the Practice Team Support patients and colleagues to ensure high standards of care.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience within phlebotomy
  • Experience administering immunisations

Desirable

  • Experience within a GP practice is beneficial

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Care Certificate and/or equivalent qualification
