We're currently expanding our team and are looking for dedicated and compassionate healthcare professionals to carry out Adult ADHD assessments on a flexible face-to-face and/or remote basis.

Main duties of the job

We welcome applications from professionals with the following backgrounds:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)

Youll be someone who shares our values of commitment, trust, integrity, and kindness, and is passionate about improving the lives of neurodiverse adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, NICE-compliant ADHD assessments for adults aged 18+
  • Communicate effectively with neurodiverse individuals, their families, and internal/external colleagues
  • Produce clear, comprehensive clinical reports within agreed timelines

About us

Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental service working both privately and with various NHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments. We are an independent organisation, but most of our work is for the NHS, whom we are proud to support. Assessments are carried out by our team of associate clinicians from a range of clinical backgrounds, in satellite clinics across the country and remotely. Psicon is committed to offering the best psychological support and healthcare available.   • Demonstrable experience conducting robust ADHD assessments in line with NICE guidelines
  • Confidence and competent in engaging with adult clients and managing assessment processes
  • Willingness to offer face-to-face in Canterbury as well as remote appointments
  • Experienced in utilizing diagnostic tools such as DIVA-5, CAARS, QBTest, and applying DSM-5 criteria for comprehensive ADHD assessment and clinical evaluation.
  • Up-to-date NMC registration, clinical supervision, appraisal, and revalidation
  • Appropriate indemnity insurance for self-employed practice
