Job summary
Eagle House Surgery is a busy practice in Ponders End, Enfield, North London, there has been a medical centre on the same site for over 100 years. We provide a service to 13,000 patients and have a large clinical team. The Healthcare Assistant will assist the practice clinical team and work as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care our patient population.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be polite, approachable, and an excellent team player, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. They will demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills and be able to remain calm and professional when working under pressure.
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience working in a GP practice. The ideal applicant will have knowledge of Long-Term Conditions (LTCs), be competent in performing venepuncture, hold a recognised phlebotomy certificate, and have a good understanding of blood pressure measurement and interpretation.
