Staff Nurse

Band 5 vacancies have become available within the Acute Medical Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for trained nurses to gain experience, skills and knowledge in one of the busiest Acute Medical Units in the South.

The Acute Medical Unit includes 63 inpatient beds and expanding Ambulatory Emergency Care facility, with an integrated nurse led DVT service. The department has a team of experienced multidisciplinary staff who will be able to support you with your induction and on-going development and will provide a number of opportunities for you to further develop your acute nursing assessment and care planning skills, tailored to the needs of your patients.

The Acute Medical Unit works closely with the Emergency Department and there are opportunities to rotate between both departments. Both departments are supported by our Practice Educator, who will be able to facilitate your induction and on-goingdevelopment.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our exciting and dynamic nursing teams. We would like to hear from band 5 Registered Nurses who are interested in working in Acute Medicine and who have at least 6 months post registration experience.
