On 22nd February 2018, we are hosting an Open Day for both experienced and newly qualified Staff Nurses. This event will give you the opportunity to meet some of the Senior Nursing Team and have the opportunity to be considered for a position with us via an interview process on the day. If you are shortlisted for this position, you will be allocated an interview slot between 2.30 - 6pm on 22nd February. We are looking for self-motivated nurses who wish to provide high quality nursing care. You must be reliable, flexible and hold your professional values at the core of your nursing care.

We are the only NHS Trust in the UK dedicated to Neurosciences and we treat a range of conditions affecting the brain and spine. As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality patient-centered care within the Multidisciplinary Team. You must be committed to maintaining patient safety and have excellent communication skills.

We are offering applicants the option to participate in a Rotational Programme across our Neurology & Neurosurgery Divisions so that you can develop a range of skills and experiences within clinical areas such as Acute Neurology, Neurosurgery, Hyper-Acute Rehabilitation and Complex Neurological Rehabilitation.

Successful candidates will participate in all ward activities, whilst also supporting the senior nursing staff. We run an attractive Preceptorship Programme for all nurses new to the Trust; on this Programme we arrange for colleagues from a variety of disciplines to meet with our new team members in order to share their expertise and promote learning. Dedicated Practice Facilitators will also mentor and support you in your clinical practice.

In 2016 we received an overall rating of ‘Outstanding’ from the CQC and we are proud to have previously been acknowledged to be in the Nursing Times’ list of Top Ten Trusts for Nursing Care as well as being recognised as one of the Top Ten Places to Work in the NHS by the Health Service Journal Awards 2015. We have also been awarded the Investors in People Gold Standard Award.

Preferences for night duty will be considered on appointment if desired. There are both full time and part time hours available.

If you are interested in joining our Team and support the Trust with our vision, please apply online and come along on the 22nd February 2017
