We are looking for Health care support workers to join our team and work with an infant with a nasogastric tube. The carer will be expected to work waking nights (10pm-7am). There may be a requirement to work on another package alongside this one.

The role will involve caring for and tending to all his needs including, but not limited to personal care, feeding, and giving medication if required.

You will be confident in communicating, engaging with him and his family. Healthcare support workers will ideally have experience with working with a nasogastric tube.

The family would like to have support workers who are practical, caring with the ability to work off their own initiative. We are seeking bubbly, energetic and hands on support workers for this wonderful opportunity.

The successful candidate;

Is committed to the caring profession,

Is reliable and dependable

Has excellent communication skills

Has good record keeping skills

Is able to work autonomously

Is able to work as a lone working

Have a valid driving license and access to a car is preferable.

Experience in the field is desirable, however we will provide an additional training and education programme that all new carers receive. You will soon have the skills and confidence to provide the highest quality care.

Hourly Rates Substantive

During 6 month probation Hourly rate

Days 8am – 8pm £7.50

Nights 8pm – 8am £9,75

Saturdays Days and Nights £9.75

Sundays and Bank Holidays Days and Nights £12.00

After Successful 6 month probation Hourly rate

Days 8am – 8pm £7.95

Nights 8pm – 8am £10.34

Saturdays Days and Nights £10.34

Sundays and Bank Holidays Days and Nights £12.72

Bank Rates

Between £8.36 - £17.72 depending on shifts
