Business Administration Apprentice

Would you like an opportunity to work in administration within our Community Neighbourhood Team?

If so, then this role could be for you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our successful Apprenticeship Scheme in our busy team based in Worcester.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident individual. The post holder will be part of a busy team providing a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to support the team. The role will involve a variety of administrative tasks including telephone call handling, data inputting, reception and general administrative tasks as set out in the job description. The applicant will be expected to have good interpersonal and IT skills and be willing to learn and develop within the team.

Our Apprenticeship Scheme is run in partnership with a reputable training provider to ensure that you are supported through a high quality training programme. You will undertake the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration. You will be employed on a 12 month fixed term contract for up to 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with time for formal study towards the apprenticeship framework.

Candidates who hold a Level 4 (or above) qualification already, i.e. HNC, HND or Degree, in a similar area to the apprenticeship will not be shortlisted. You are advised to read the Person Specification BEFORE you complete the supporting information section and tell us how you meet the requirements. To be successful you must be committed to completing the apprenticeship training programme. This role is based in Worcester; please consider your ability to travel to and from this location a daily basis before applying.

Please note that if do not indicate on your application form that you have achieved 4 GCSE (or equivalent) grade 9 – 4 or A-D (including Maths and English Language) you will not be shortlisted.

New employees to the Trust are required to pay the fee for the initial DBS check (this will be deducted from their first months’ salary) and the annual subscription (£13) to the DBS Update Service. The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
