This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and multi professional team as the Sister in Charge of Interventional Radiology Theatres nurses at the QMC Campus’ of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

Interventional Radiology is a busy, diverse and expanding specialty that caters for patients requiring either neuro, vascular, hepato-biliary or renal diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in a theatre like environment with complex imaging equipment.

We require effective communication and a positive approach to improving patient care, with skills and knowledge to solve clinical challenges and issues sensitively, using a family friendly focus. You will help us to identify and develop quality programs for service development which meet both local and national agendas to improve outcomes

Caring in nature, you must be able to work well under pressure in this busy area. You will possess good interpersonal skills and IT skills would be an advantage.The provision of clinical and non clinical governance is an essential part of the role.

Candidates should have a working knowledge/experience in a leadership role in any of the following Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory or a theatre environment.
The service hours are Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 18.00.

All new employees starting work at NUH will be subject to a DBS check and liable for the cost (£49 for enhanced, £31 for standard, £30 for basic).

The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
