We are seeking an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join our county-wide Speech and Language Therapy Team.

The role is based at Danesbury Neurological Centre in East & North Hertfordshire and is full time. You will be working with patients post stroke, head injury and some progressive neurological conditions andshould haverelevant experience of working with adults with acquired disorders of communication and swallowing. You should alsobe fully dysphagia trained.You will be joining anMDT thatincludes other SLTs, Physios, OTs, Clinical Psychology, Dietitian, Rehab Assistants, GP, nursing staff, housekeepers and volunteers.

As a county-wide service of 27 wte Speech and Language Thearpists, we also offer:

*Fully implemented appraisal and supervision systems, and regular Team and Service Meetings
* Regular In-service training, CPD support and opportunities for development
* Encouragement to participate in service development projects
* Clinical leads for advice, support and supervision
*Excellent AAC provision and links to regional Hubs
* Use of SystmOne as electronic patient record and mobile working.
* Hertfordshire has good transport links to London and the surrounding areas.

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £971 and a maximum payment of £1,682 per annum (pro rata where applicable).

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential for community posts (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
