Among its many excellent services are an outstanding trauma and orthopaedics unit, a pioneering emergency assessment unit, a fully accredited gynae-oncology unit, level 2 neonatal care, and nationally recognised expertise in radiotherapy, diabetes and ENT. This hospital’s facilities include the Garrett Anderson Centre, opened in 2008, which provides excellent facilities for A&E, critical care and day surgery. The hospital also has particular strengths in research and education, with strong links to the Universities of Cambridge and East Anglia.

We have exciting part or full time opportunities available for enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapists to join our Integrated Therapy Team as part of our Musculoskeletal outpatient team. We are looking for flexible team players who will be confident and professional with the clinical skills required to manage a diverse, complex caseload within a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will have completed a range of acute rotations including MSK at band 5 level.

Candidates will demonstrate both supervisory and leadership skills to support junior members of staff and students. This post will support MSK Outpatient clinics at Ipswich Hospital and in outreach clinics in community settings. Regular formal and informal supervision, appraisal, in-service training and CPD opportunities are available.

The Integrated Therapy service has a high profile within trust and thrives on innovation and challenges. The service has taken a lead role in many developments, including 7 day Integrated Therapy working, admission prevention in the Emergency Department, an Enhanced Recovery Program for elective orthopaedic surgery, and implementation of a Fragility Assessment Base which is helping to shape the future of patient pathways within the local area.
