Volunteer Driver’s vacancies – Based at Brooklands, Marston Green, Birmingham B37 7HL.

Post worked between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (if willing occasional weekends and later evenings). Mileage for own vehicle use can be claimed and any out of pocket expenses.

The Voluntary Driver’s role carries out driving duties to include: collecting patients from their own home, centre or ward and taking to various venues both with the Trust and other NHS Hospital sites either for outpatients’ appointments, day services or clinical appointments.

The successful candidates will have a clean driving licence, their own vehicle insured for business use and must be over 25 years of age. Must be friendly, willing to listen, empathetic to patients’ needs and able to commit to a few hours per week.

A full days training in NHS procedures and expectations will be provided.
