Admin Team Lead

Following the restructure of Admin Management under System Ops & Resilience there is an opportunity to take on this exciting new role, working collaboratively with two other Band 5 Team Leads.

This will be a busy role supporting the four localities and the general admin teams. Working with close links and cross-cover to support the Single Point of Contact and Specialist Services where required. This will be a challenging role as each locality will be set up differently with varying numbers of staff and services requiring admin support. You will need to be people-focused and adaptable in your approach to work. In return we are offering a fantastic opportunity to develop within your role, and work with our brilliant teams

You will be responsible for the line management of the administrative and clerical staff, and for ensuring the smooth running of the services within each locality in relation to its administrative functions. This will include Human Resource tasks – from recruitment and sickness management to appraisals.

You will work with our existing teams to review and improve our administrative systems, and introduce procedures to enhance our patient pathways and experience. You will monitor workload and ensure activity targets are monitored and met, and that patient management is in line with waiting targets.

You will need to demonstrate evidence of the following:

  • Managing large teams
  • Knowledge of HR processes
  • Experience of absence management
  • Regular management of e-roster
  • Experience of undertaking appraisals and supporting development
  • Knowledge of SystmOne
  • Knowledge of the Datix system
  • Project Management
  • Customer service experience
