Redeployment -Please note that in the first instance priority for this vacancy will be given to NCH&C staff who are on the Trusts Redeployment Register. DBS Update -If this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and you are not a current employee of Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust then the cost of the DBS check will be automatically removed from your first month’s salary. Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust are looking for a strategic procurement professional - Procurement Improvement and Development Manager.

Based in Norwich, this is a key post in the Procurement team. This team helps deliver the Trust’s cash releasing savings work plan. We do this by applying competitive rigour to our expenditure and by running EU compliant tender processes for complex and high value procurements.

The post holder will:

  • Manage a portfolio of procurement projects;
  • Ensure Procurement project comply with the Trust’s governance rules and public procurement legislation;
  • Support the construction and delivery of the Trust’s Procurement strategy;
  • Take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of contracts and end-user teams
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to design and implement procurement projects; and
  • Provide sourcing and contractual advice to colleagues in other departments.
