We are seeking to appoint a Band 5 Therapist to join our dynamic group of Occupational Therapists.

You will be based within a Specialist Team at one of our locations within the Trust providing Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for patients within the defined specialist clinical area, gaining experience of working in a variety of settings and working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team.

OT teams include Medicine (Including Older People’s Medicine) Surgery (Vascular, Plastics and General Surgery), Orthopaedics (Trauma and Elective), Major Trauma Rehabilitation, Adult Oncology, Paediatrics, Neurosciences.

You will receive regular supervision supporting both your clinical and professional development and will also be able to utilise peer support from the Band 5 support group. Applicants must also be willing to participate in internal and external learning opportunities.

Applicants need to be state registered and should have an excellent knowledge of occupational therapy core skills, well developed communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.

Experience of working with a wide range of physical conditions in an acute physical, fast paced environment is desirable.
