We are looking for a full-time (10 PA) Specialty Doctor in Rheumatology at Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Applicants must have completed a minimum of four years full time post graduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) of which at least two will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in the relevant specialty; or shall have equivalent specialty clinical experience and competencies.

We are looking for a strong commitment from the appointee to the Department and involvement with education and research activities is expected. The successful applicant will be expected to work as part of a wider multidisciplinary team and will be required to contribute to the ongoing development of the Rheumatology Department at Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

It is essential that applicants hold an MBBS qualification or equivalent and applicants must be in possession of full GMC Registration and hold a licence to practice.

Salary range is £37,923 to £70,718 per annum (dependant on service) + enhancements. There is no on-call requirement.

•Appointment to this 10 PA post which does not include On-call is subject to the provisions of the Terms and Conditions of the Specialty Doctor contract (2008).

•Further conditions have been implemented by the Trust that have been negotiated with the Medical and Dental Local Negotiating Committee. The national salary scale for Specialty Doctor appointments will apply (MC46).
