So, we take the time to time listen to our patients, our staff and all our partners about the things that are important to them and the changes they would like to make to continuously improve the patient journey.

Do you share our vision for putting patients first and providing the highest quality patient care?

If so, we currently have some fantastic opportunities for compassionate, dedicated nurses on our Respiratory ward, caring for patients with acute or chronic respiratory diseases. The ward is established to look after at least 2-3 NIV patients at any time.

A fast-paced and varied environment is guaranteed, due to the high number of daily discharges plus typically short lengths of stay. Here no two days are the same and there is always something new to learn.

As respiratory patients may become unstable in a short period of time, you will need to be a quick thinker and a confident decision maker, able to make rapid initial assessments and respond appropriately during stressful situations. You will have a good deal of autonomy, yet also be part of a well-established and driven multi-disciplinary team.

On joining, we will support your personal and professional development. You will complete the NIV training package, achieve competencies in IV cannulation and also gain knowledge of tracheotomy care.
