Ward 8 – General medicine

Salary: £22,128 - £28,746 (part time = pro rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to become a member of our team working on Ward 8. We are offering a job opportunity to a committed, dynamic and motivated nurse with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.

We are a busy 27 bedded General Medical ward, which currently includes a 6 bedded Acute Stroke Unit. The function of the ward is to assess, investigate, treat and discharge or transfer patients to the most appropriate setting following their acute episode of care. We use a multidisciplinary team approach. Admissions are accepted directly from the Emergency Department and Outpatient Clinics.

You must be a Level 1, Registered General Nurse with excellent communication skills with the ability to think on your feet.

We need someone who wishes to make an impact and be part of our dedicated nursing team who pride themselves in delivering excellent nursing care. You will be actively involved in supporting the senior ward team continue their journey towards becoming an outstanding ward.
