Vocare currently operates a number of GPOOH and UCCs from various areas of the country. As part of our resilience plans we are looking to recruit experienced OOH GPs to work remotely from home, in supporting our regions with triage calls and performance.

Our ambition is to build a specialist remote triage team from a pool of clinically excellent GPs in order to ensure each patient is managed in the right way, at the right place within the right time.

We offer a competitive salary, free medical indemnity cover, a tailored comprehensive induction programme, in addition to a supportive working environment with 24/7 access to senior ‘Clinical on Call’ for advice. We provide comprehensive operational support and all the equipment you’ll need to work from home.

There are also opportunities for you to become involved in the training and management side of the organisation, undertaking interviews and inductions, audit work, peer telephone triage review, and other lead GP work – all in paid time.

In return, we can offer home working, flexible working hours and a competitive salary which recognises the day of the week and time of the shifts performed.

We are also looking for GPs to join our Vocare National Doctors Service, where GPs who travel the country can engage with us and work across any of our OOH and UCC’s in the UK.

Closing Date: 31/12/2017

All successful applicants will be subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check.

Vocare Group recognise the diversity of the communities in which we operate and demonstrate this through the service we provide when dealing with patients, their family and carers.
