Are you looking for an exciting and challenging new role? Are you an enthusiastic, motivated individual who wants to work in a dynamic and lively department? If this is you why not come and join our Pharmacy team at East Kent University NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a pro-active Pharmacy Technician with strong problem solving skills that is self-motivated and organised to form part of our pharmacy team.

The post holder will join our established team of technicians working in the dispensary, ward based services, technical services, you will be able to work effectively alone and as part of a team.

You must be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills. You will need to be forward thinking and enthusiastic, with a commitment to continuing professional development.

The Successful candidate will be able to work towards their Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician and Medicines Optimisation accreditations and to be part of our new approach to the Hospital transformation programmes.

It is essential that you have a BTEC National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Science and the NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Standards or equivalent qualification. You will also be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
