An exciting opportunity has arisen for 1 Locum Consultant Dermatologist to join our thriving team providing high quality dermatological care. This is a Fixed Term post for 12 months however there is a possibility that this post could be extended for the advertised length of time, to three years. You will be joining a department that has an established Dermatology service, commitment to service improvement through innovation, excellent relationships with ENT, Maxillofacial and Plastics, and collaborative working relationship with other Trusts to deliver future service developments including MOHS surgery.

The post-holders will join a team of four consultants, supported by a team of specialist dermatology nurses to provide a comprehensive dermatology service to the area of mid and north Hampshire. There will be a commitment to support and develop your specialist interests.

The Trust’s vision is to provide a comprehensive service to the population ranging from highly specialized acute dermatology services to community dermatology services. It aims to provide services as local to people as possible and centralised only if necessary.

The post will be primarily based on the Royal Hampshire County Hospital (Winchester) site with sessions also being undertaken at Andover War Memorial hospital.

There is full secretarial support with an administration team consisting of a Speciality Administrator (Dermatology) and support staff on both hospital sites. Each Consultant has dedicated office space and supporting IT.
