Location: Royal South Hants Hospital, Southampton

A vacancy exists for a Band A Dental Officer, full or part time to provide dental care for children and adults with special needs on a clinic and domiciliary basis. This is a salaried Dental Officer post within the Solent NHS Trust Dental Service, working out of our clinic at the Royal South Hants Hospital, Southampton. Solent NHS Trust salaried Dental Service provides a number of specialist services including sedation, domiciliary and general anesthesia and has a well-established special needs and paediatric dental services. Applicants for the above post must have full registration with the GDC. Applicants are required to have completed, or demonstrate that they have equivalence to vocational training as an NHS performer number is essential to the post. There are a wide range of development opportunities and we positively support further training and work towards professional development. Our modern surgeries are well equipped, comfortable and pleasant to work in with computerised practice management and charting systems and digital radiography systems. If you have excellent communication skills and a caring and empathetic manner you will find our clinics are an excellent environment to work in.
