Who we are

Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) is responsible for providing community health service for over 500,000 people living across the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond-Upon-Thames.

Community Healthcare covers most of the services that are provided outside of hospital or GP surgeries. We are passionate about delivering high quality care and provide a range of services for both adults and children including community nursing, health visiting, physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, health promotion and stop smoking services, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy. We also provide some specialist services such as audiology, neuro-rehabilitation, continence services and continuing care.

Some of our services such as the Walk-in Centre at Teddington Memorial Hospital and the Hounslow Urgent Care Centre attract patients from nearby boroughs and we also run services further afield such as the LiveWell and stop smoking services in the London boroughs of Sutton and Merton.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic paediatrician with experience in community Paediatrics to join our integrated Hounslow and Richmond Team. You will be part of a well established team who have an excellent reputation for multi-agency/multidisciplinary working and service innovation.

The post holder will lead as a Named Doctor for Looked after Children / Medical Advisor to Adoption and Fostering for the Trust (Richmond Team only). In addition, the post holder will provide Paediatric input for neurodevelopment/neurodisability, autism service. The post holder will also be part of the integrated Safeguarding rota jointly with Richmond and Hounslow Community Paediatric Team.

The post will be based as part of the Richmond Team at Ham Clinic, Ashburnham Road, Ham, TW10 7NF. In case of service needs, the post-holder may have to work with the Hounslow community Paediatric Team, because of the integrated service policy of the Trust.

Applicants must be on the GMC specialist register or be within 6 months of obtaining their CCST at the time of interview. We are happy to encourage any candidate who have already submitted CESR in general/community paediatrics and is awaiting completion of assessment by GMC
