Rehabilitation Support Worker

Sirona Band 16, from £14,812 rising to £17,618 per annum (pro rata)

Full time / part time / weekend working options.

We are looking for dynamic and motivated staff, with a strong Rehabilitation and Reablement ethos to join our friendly and supportive team to support Sirona to deliver Discharge to Assess following recent investment for expansion.

The team provide rehabilitation to people in their own homes and you will work as part of a specialist community rehab team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language and Rehab Support Workers with the aim of supporting people to maximise their independence. We are passionate about delivering high quality care to the people we support while helping them to reach their full functional potential and optimise their well-being.

We actively promote a multi-disciplinary model of care and our nursing, therapy and support teams work closely with our social care and acute colleagues, to make sure those we support have an exceptional experience. We also work with our GPs and other medical colleagues to ensure we provide care of the highest standard.

We are looking for people to fill a variety of exciting and challenging roles within the team. The successful candidates will have a real passion for their work, with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and respect for those we support, their carers and families as well as our colleagues in the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team. You will join a team of experienced therapists and support staff to provide compassionate care, and will work with us to create an environment providing high quality rehabilitation and reablement.

The rates for our Rehab Support Workers are as follows:

Monday – Friday Daytime Hours (06.00 – 22.00)

£7.58 rising to £9.01 per hour

Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Days

£11.36 rising to £13.52 per hour

You will normally be expected to work 7.5 hour shifts which will include split shifts (8.30am-1pm and then 6.30pm-9.30pm or all day shifts 8.30am-4.30pm. There will also be a requirement to participate in a weekend rota which is approximately 1 in 3 depending on the needs of the service. You will also claim 45 pence per mile and will be paid for the entire shift and not just during visits.
