We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motived Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the LTHT staff Bank, to work in our Radiology theatre departments at Leeds General Infirmary and St James Hospital. The position will be a Long term Position Working in the vascular theatre recovery areas.

The role will require you to admit and discharge in and out patients, monitor vital observations and arterial and venous puncture sites. In house training will be given if required. This roles also involves some data inputting to accurately record room utilisation. In this role you can be expected to assist in procedures such as angiographs and angioplasty stenting and embolization. Previous experience would be desirable.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months RN UK (Private or NHS) hospital experience within the last 2 years.
• Adult nursing degree - or equivalent.
• Have valid NMC registration.
• Knowledge and demonstration of the use of evidence based care.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of record keeping.
• Be able to work as an independent practitioner.
