Increasingly AWP provides treatment and care in people's own homes and other community settings, reflecting the preferences of our service users. Our community services are supported by high quality inpatient services that provide short term assessment, treatment and care.

Part Time Consultant Psychiatrist
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Working with the CAMHS Triage, Assessment and Outreach Team
6PAs

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working in the CAMHS Triage, Assessment and Outreach Team. The team is a partnership of NHS clinicians and our colleagues in Off The Record, a childrens charity. The role will involve consulting with and supporting team members with urgent community assessments which will include a wide range of mental health diagnosis in addition to consulting with and supporting team members with hospital emergency and deliberate self-harm assessments.

There are opportunities to develop clinical special interests, take a role in team leadership, development and management and deliver teaching and training to undergraduate medical students and post-graduate trainees in psychiatry.

The successful applicant will join a group of 14 other Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatry colleagues working across 4 community CAMHS teams and 2 Learning Disability CAMHS teams in Bristol and South Gloucestershire and a Tier 4 inpatient unit.
