We looking for newly-qualified physiotherapists to join teams working on a 6 monthly rotational basis within Portsmouth and Southampton. We work in partnership with Portsmouth Hospitals NHS trust and as such can offer rotations in acute, community and clinic environments to meet our patient’s needs.

This post is part of the Portsmouth Hospital NHS Trust and Solent NHS Trust Band 5 rotational system which represents a truly integrated Band 5 rotational scheme between Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust and Solent NHS Trust. There are currently over 40 rotations that will take you into Acute, Community and Primary Care. These settings include opportunities on Intensive Care, acute wards in all specialties at Queen Alexandra Hospital, high level community care, Rapid Response, specialist community care and a multitude of musculoskeletal services at a variety of community settings within Solent NHS Trust.

We know that the development of our staff is essential to the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care and ensure that all our newly qualified health professionals are offered a comprehensive 12 month Preceptorship programme. You will be supported by an outstanding team of Practice Educators who will support and assist you in the transition from student to practitioner.
