Consultant Cardiologist - Electrophysiology & Devices

The busy, vibrant and cohesive cardiology department at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHSFT is currently looking to recruit a Consultant Cardiologist to join our existing team of 22 Consultant cardiologists. We are looking for a suitably experienced individual who can actively contribute to the development of our Cardiac Electrophysiology and Complex Devices service.

There is an on call commitment to non-interventional cardiology services. The post will be expected to provide sessions in our regional partner NHS trusts as we increasingly provide specialised services outside our teaching hospital environment.

Should any further vacancies arise, shortlisted candidates will be considered.

The appointee will be expected to take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training. Research is encouraged and full facilities are available.

The successful candidate must be registered with the GMC with a valid licence to practice. You will also have completed Specialist Training and obtained CCT in Cardiology (or equivalent).
