The successful candidate will be employed by the GP Practice/Medical Centre, not Aneurin Bevan University Health Board


We are a well established, friendly and forward thinking training Practice who are committed to high quality care and the continued development of our Practice workforce. We are looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work as part of our supportive and dedicated primary care clinical team. Good communication skills and a flexible approach is vital. MSc in Nurse Practitioner studies including clinical assessment modules is essential.

  • 13,600 Patients

  • 5 Partners, 2 Salaried GP’s, 3 Nurses (including Minor Illness and Nurse led Chronic Disease Clinics), 2 HCA and excellent administration team

  • Full time Practice based Pharmacist

  • Morning coffee breaks

  • Fully committed to Workflow Optimisation & appropriate redirection within Practice

  • Training Practice - GP Registrars and Y1, Y2 & Y5 Medical Students

  • Active involvement in local cluster

  • Easy access to the M4 and City Centre

    Job summary:

    The post-holder will primarily carry out booked surgeries, focusing on urgent care requests. Manage a caseload with following up and ongoing chronic disease management and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients.
