We are looking for dynamic, innovative and experienced Audiologists to join our friendly team. The Department provides a comprehensive Audiology and Hearing Aid service to the whole of the North of Tyne and Northumberland area. We have available one permanent Band 5 position and two 12 month fixed term posts. We would welcome applications from students due to qualify this summer.

Based at the Freeman Hospital the successful candidate will assist in the organising and co-ordinating of the Audiology Service. The post holder will also be involved in covering a network of other units, providing all routine aspects of diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology, in both the adult and paediatric population, while also becoming involved in the most advanced techniques and procedures.

Essential Requirements;

    • BSc / MSc in Audiology and CCC or equivalent

    • Have or be working towards RCCP or HCPC registration.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
