Please note that should this post attract sufficient interest and we are inundated with applications, we may choose to close at an earlier date. We strongly suggest that you apply at an early stage. In order to keep administration costs to a minimum, the receipt of your application will not be acknowledged. If we have not contacted you within four weeks of the closing date of this post, please presume that you have not been selected. Applicants from the Solent NHS Trust whose posts are considered to be ‘At Risk’ will be given prior consideration for this post. Candidates selected for interview will be contacted after the short listing process, usually within 2 weeks. The majority of correspondence will be via the e-recruitment system; therefore you should check your emails regularly including junk mail folders in web-based email products

Note to vacancy advertisers: Solent NHS Trust operates a strict process regarding the advertising of vacancies, details of which may only be reproduced with the written permission of the person authorised by the Trust to place the advert. Any orders obtained via unsolicited routes (including individuals not so authorised) will not be paid and the circumstances will be reported to the Trust’s Local Counter Fraud Specialist.

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Border Agency requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit UK Border Agency website.
