Then look no further – we are currently looking to recruit, keen, motivated and enthusiastic nurses into our Trauma Unit which covers 3 wards C4, C5 & C6.

We are looking for keen, motivated, flexible Nurses. We would expect the candidate to rotate onto nights and work with the clinical ward team.

The areas are very busy and every day is different. We have a high turnover of patients making the environment challenging yet very rewarding. The expectation is that you will deliver a high standard of service with patient safety and quality care as a priority.

You will be based in the Surgical Division – within which you will be given the opportunity and responsibility to promote clinical excellence. There are great opportunities to be involved in clinical link roles, clinical audit and bench-marking. You will be supported to undertake your role by preceptorship, mentorship and clinical supervision.There is also support from the Practice Development Nurses, to support and facilitate your clinical and practical needs.

There may be an opportunity to undertake a rotational post within the Division of Surgery.

There are regular time out days to keep you updated with both Division and Trust initiatives.

Surgery is a forward thinking, dynamic and driven directorate and is looking to recruit nurses who feel that they are ready to rise to the challenge.

All new employees starting work at NUH will be subject to a DBS check and liable for the cost (£49 for enhanced, £31 for standard, £30 for basic).

The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
