With effect from 1st April 2017 points 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 on AfC Pay Band 1 and Pay Band 2 will be adjusted to £16,523 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage £8.45 per hour.


An exciting opportunity has become available a Band 6 Deputy Sister on Ward E (Enabling), Neath Port Talbot Hospital. The successful candidate would work closely with the Band 7 to promote and develop care of the elderly services, putting patients well being at the fore front.

We are looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm to deliver high standards of care with the ability to empower staff to do the same.

We will be able to offer career development within the role and encourage innovative practice.

The Neath Port Talbot Hospital forms part of ABM University Health Board which has a strong ethos of teaching, education, research and dementia led services for those patients that require them.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role
